This production was very successful and we had 2 nights of good audiences. Well done to all the Players and thank you to a very appreciative set of audiences.

Just had an email from FCUM radio.
They are broadcasting the scifi thriller Jealousy on 2pm Saturdays, right before their FC Live programme (the match day show, and the most listened to on FCUM Radio).
It starts on the 24th March, this will take us to the end of the football season, meaning the last league game of the season on the 21st April, will also correspond with the finale of Jealousy.
Rehearsals are under way for our 2 one act plays in April. We still need a male actor if possible so if you are interested in having a part please come along this Wednesday to Levenshulme Baptist 7.30.
We are currently rehearsing 2 one act plays to perform April 14 and 15th at St Mary’s Church Hall, Elbow St, Levenshulme. They are written by local writer Bill Mitton and are very funny. Tickets will be on sale in 3 weeks time so please contact 225 4674 to get your tickets reserved early.
April will see The Players performing 2 one act plays. However we would like 3 more members to take the strain off the present actors. So if you want to see what is needed come along next Wed to a read through at 23 Bristol Ave. We need one female and 2/3 males. Your society needs you.

Last night was the dress rehearsal. Minor panic over lighting, and no-one could remember their lines. Old stagers reassure us it’s always like that, and it usually means those things will go right on the night.
So now it’s tonight at the M19 bar opposite Albert Rd /Stockport Rd junction, Levenshulme 7:30.

Rehearsals are going well for the revue next Sat 14th at M19 Bar Levenshule 7.30. The programme is a good mix and should be fun.
The team here is great and we are always looking for new members to add to our numbers. We need back stage hands as well so come and give us a try. Next rehearsal Wed 11th Jan at M19 Bar Stockport Road.
